By now, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, is well known for his not-so-warm relationship with former President Barack Obama.
Additionally, Netanyahu, also known as “Bibi” in Israel, has quite the opposite relationship with President Trump, and the two have become fast friends.
Now, they’ve teamed up to have a few laughs at Obama’s expense.
President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu met up in New York, where they had a brief photo op, and Netanyahu made sure to brag on President Trump as well as take a veiled shot at Obama.
“I want to say that under your leadership, the alliance between America and Israel has never been stronger and never been deeper,” said Netanyahu, praising Trump’s leadership.
The Israeli Prime Minister made his thoughts on Obama’s disastrous nuclear deal with Iran, saying “…the terrible nuclear deal with Iran and how to handle Iran’s growing aggression…”
Netanyahu also added, “I want to say that under President Trump, America’s position towards the U.N. has been unequivocal and been strong in both clarity and conviction. Thank you, Mr. President.”
The relationship between Israel and the United States has improved far better than the days of the Obama administration, considering President Trump values our allies, and doesn’t cater to our mutual enemies.
