Today, Donald Trump Junior met with the House Intelligence Committee, in a further effort to put the last nail in the “Russian collusion” coffin.
Such a hearing can be a daunting task, and can take several days, and Don Jr. spent over eight hours with the committee.
During an appearance on Fox News, Trey Gowdy was asked by host, Martha MacCallum, “Was it a grilling in there?”
Gowdy responded with, “It was a very professional exchange of information,” and anyone who’s watched him in action knows that Trey Gowdy knows the difference between a “grilling” and a “professional exchange.”
Don Jr’s cooperation was the completely the opposite of the FBI and DOJ, who had to be threatened by Devin Nunes of being held in contempt for failing to provide subpoenaed information.
Clearly, as Gowdy has reported, Don Jr.’s meeting went well, since he did nothing wrong in the first place.
