As the 2018 Winter Olympics continue in South Korea, the world is watching, and recently, North Korea surprised everyone with their last-minute entrance to the games.
Now, mainstream media outlet CNN is coming under harsh criticism for their fawning “puff piece” over the attendance of the games by Kim Yo Jong, the younger sister of the brutal dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong-un.
In an article written on Saturday, CNN stated that Kim Jong-un’s sister was “stealing the show,” saying, “If ‘diplomatic dance’ were an event at the Winter Olympics, Kim Jong Un’s younger sister would be favored to win gold.”
The article continued, “With a smile, a handshake and a warm message in South Korea’s presidential guest book, Kim Yo Jong has struck a chord with the public just one day into the PyeongChang Games,” and drew immediate backlash online.
This is still up. CNN knows this is a despicable headline and article and that they’re being dragged for it. But they leave it up. Question is why. https://t.co/0AND0kHq1A

Does this puff piece mean she’s gotten over her dictator brother’s murder of her other brother? https://t.co/JhjCimwQ9O
