Democrat politician Al Green is known for making off-the-wall, rambling, semi-coherent comments, as well as for his virulent hatred of President Trump.
Rep. Green has called for the impeachment of our “America First” president on multiple occasions, citing obscure and nonsensical reasons.
Now, seemingly out of the blue, Green has released a statement, in which he insists that he resolved some “relationship issues” with a “friend,” and mentioned that he did not use taxpayer money, likely a reference to revelations that several prominent Congressmen used taxpayer money to cover up misbehavior.
Green’s bizarre statement is apparently related to his relationship with former aide, Lucinda Daniels, who accused the Democratic politician of sexually assaulting her, following a “romantic encounter.”
“In the present climate, we wish to jointly quiet any curious minds about our former and present relationship with one another,” Green’s statement read, and claimed that the two had settled their differences amicably.
With high-profile Democrats Al Franken and John Conyers both facing humiliating exposure for their perverted and degenerate sexual misconduct, Al Green is likely trying to take pre-emptive action.
A new, out-of-nowhere statement from @RepAlGreen.
Spox: “The attached statement is in reference to a circumstance that occurred in 2008. This circumstance did not involve the Cong. Office, nor the Office of Employment Counsel & did not involve the use of any taxpayer money.” pic.twitter.com/EkK9XrwXDL
