Mike Ditka Has a HARSH Message For NFL Anthem Protesters

“America’s coach,” Mike Ditka, has a message for the filthy-rich NFL crybabies who are disrespecting our National Anthem.

Ditka, the NFL hall-of-fame coach said: “no one will remember you.”

Coach Ditka is right, these entitled brats, whom Ditka refers to as “malcontents,” will never be remembered as sports legends, nor will they go on to be legendary coaches.

In fact, the players who’re injecting their anti-American, anti-cop rhetoric into the NFL won’t even be remembered as the whiny protesters they are.

When all is said and done, these NFL “activists” will be forgotten within a few years’ time, and no one will miss them.

From Washington Times

NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka has a name for the pro-football players who choose to protest the national anthem: “malcontents.”

The former Chicago Bears coach, who has spoken out against the protests in the past, told TMZ that’s we’re currently living in a “different generation” where some people “think a lot of things don’t apply to them.”

“You can’t stop everybody. There’s always going to be some malcontents,” he said. “So let them be malcontents, let them do their thing. They’ll move on. Nobody will think about it, nobody will remember who they were.

“They have a right to do that, they have a right to do anything they want to do. I just disagree with it,” he added.

number of football players chose to kneel or raise a power fist during the national anthem in Sunday’s season openers — a movement started by former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. TMZ asked Mr. Ditka whether players should put the protests on hold Monday— the anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

“I’d like to see [the protests] put on hold every day,” Mr. Ditka responded. “I mean, there’s a time and place for everything. Before a football game is not the time and place for it, period.”
