McCabe BUSTED With Conflicted Testimony, Draws a BLANK on Dossier

Disgraced FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is coming under fire for his conflicting testimony before Congress.

Not only that, but McCabe is conveniently drawing a “blank” on the dossier.

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s testimony Tuesday before the House Intelligence Committee conflicted with prior testimony of other witnesses, prompting a new round of subpoenas next week for U.S. Department of Justice and FBI personnel.

Asked about when he learned the Russian dossier was funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign, McCabe said he did not recall, even though he reportedly signed documents establishing his knowledge of their funding and origin, Fox News reported.

At one point, McCabe told the panel “how hard the FBI had worked to verify the allegations in the anti-Trump ‘dossier’ and stood by its credibility.” When asked what in the dossier had been verified, McCabe could only cite that a Trump campaign adviser, Carter Page, had visited Moscow.

FBI Director James Comey previously testified that the dossier was “salacious and unverified.”

In August, the House Intelligence Committee asked the FBI and Justice Department in a subpoena for information on the efforts to validate the dossier — sources indicate that neither provided documents in response.

“It’s hard to know who’s telling us the truth,” said one House investigator after McCabe’s questioning, Fox News reported.

Although the House Intelligence Committee’s staff would not confirm who will be subpoenaed, Fox News’s James Rosen reported likely candidates are Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and FBI General Counsel James A. Baker.

When Ohr was serving as associate deputy attorney general during the 2016 campaign, he had repeated contact with Christopher Steele, the author of the Russian dossier. It was later revealed that Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr’s wife, worked for Fusion GPS, the company Hillary Clinton and the DNC funded to compile the dossier.
