In a recent segment, Tucker Carlson pointed out a massive strategic error that has plagued the Democratic Party since well before the 2016 election – their “modern” image is alienating moderates.
As the Democratic Party continues to shift farther left, embracing radical left-wing ideals and espousing often violent rhetoric, many “classic” Democrats feel they no longer have anything in common with the base.
“Reagan Democrats” and moderate liberals quickly found their voices drowned out by the radical left, including hateful, violent groups and felt abandoned by their party.
As Tucker points out, the modern Democratic Party has “made no meaningful effort to win former Democrats over,” and instead chose to “import new voters to replace them,” and he couldn’t be more right.
